Briefly about the snowmobiling clothes

The most important item of the snowmobiling outfit is the helmet. It gives safe and keeps you warm. The motorbike helmets are suitable just if the temperature is above zero Celsius degree. If it is under zero Celsius degree the plexi freezes, cannot see through of it. Helmets for snowmobiling have double plexi glasses and some of them can be heated as well and they are closed around the neck. The ones with higher quality have sunglasses as well. After the helmet the next most important is keeping warm the feet and hands, so the boots and the gloves.  Gloves must be heat and water proof because all of the sleds have hand heating. Most of the boots can be used under minus 40 Celsius degree as well. For one or two occassion you can wear winter boots as well.  Every brand has its own kind of coats and trousers but skiing clothes can be temporary sollution as well.

If somebody buys a good machine, it can be new or used, there are some very useful tips:

1. If the sledge is short tacking counts a lot ont he ice or in the snow. The piles gets into the chain-track so the vehicle becomes more stabile and easire to control.
2. The under protection provides safety against the rocks and trunks under the snow.
3. Extra fuel tank ( mostly at two-cycle petrol engine)
4. Hand protector ( protects the hands for cold weather and sticks in the forest)
5. Equipment bag or rucksack.
